Staff Accountant

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Perform cash posting and maintain accurate cash records
• Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities
• Prepare and complete bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Record payroll accruals and maintain related accounting entries
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Generate financial reports and provide insights that support business decision-making
• Review financial data for accuracy and identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, Accountant, or similar accounting professional
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting functions
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, cash posting, and payroll accruals
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlinesMust-haves
• QuickBooks Online experience — non-negotiable. Not "I've seen it." You can navigate and work in it confidently.
• Accounting degree
• 3–5+ years of full-cycle, multi-entity accounting
• Excel well beyond SUM and VLOOKUP
• A genuine interest in using AI and automation to kill repetitive work
• Sharp attention to detail and enough self-direction to run without hand-holding
