People Analytics Specialist

We act as the bridge connecting the technical side (Data Engineering) with the human side (People Team), delivering strategic insights that truly move the needle for the company. Our mission is to be a high-impact, proactive team that anticipates challenges before they arrive, ensuring preventive and mitigation actions are taken alongside the People team and the Managers. To power this, we build data products that serve as the unquestionable source of truth, renowned for their accuracy, quality, and reliability.

We're looking for a Specialist who can take full ownership of complex, ambiguous analytical problems, from framing an organizational hypothesis to validating it methodologically and turning it into a decision. This role goes beyond maintaining what already exists: it's about designing what doesn't exist yet, whether that's a predictive model, an experiment, or a new way of explaining a business challenge through data. We also expect this person to raise the technical bar of the team, mentoring less experienced analysts and acting as a trusted, senior-level partner to HRBPs and leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience in People Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytical field, ideally applied to organizational or workforce challenges;
• Strong proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and predictive analysis (e.g., turnover prediction, organizational network analysis);
• Advanced SQL skills for handling large, complex datasets;
• Solid grounding in statistics and applied methodology — experimental design, hypothesis validation, and model evaluation;
• Experience translating complex technical findings into narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders, including Leadership and the C-level;
• Track record of mentoring or providing technical leadership to less experienced analysts;
• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English — we usually use English to write our code, documentation, tools, and reference materials, and it's common to have meetings in English with senior stakeholders based in other countries.
• High attention to detail regarding data quality and accuracy (ensuring numbers are always indisputable).
