Associate Product Manager

About the position

We’re seeking an Associate Product Manager to help build world-class legal practice management solutions. As an Associate Product Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape the tools legal professionals rely on every day, empowering them to manage their practices, serve their clients, and make smarter, data-driven decisions. Working closely with customers, sales, marketing, and engineering, you’ll contribute to product roadmaps and translate customer needs into detailed product requirements. The ideal candidate is curious and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills, growing data fluency, and deep empathy for customers. You should be able to think broadly and deeply—understanding customer problems, crafting clear requirements, and collaborating effectively with engineering, QA, and UX teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on Product Strategy: Work with Product Managers to help shape the roadmap and priorities for your product area, aligning initiatives with broader product strategies across customer segments (SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise).
• Be the Voice of the Customer: Engage with customers and internal teams to understand user pain points, uncover opportunities, and validate solutions.
• Enhance User Workflows: Identify and help refine high-priority features that simplify and improve the way legal professionals work.
• Author Requirements: Translate strategic priorities into clear, high-quality product specifications and user stories with acceptance criteria that are readily accepted by engineering teams.
• Support the Product Lifecycle: Help drive features from discovery and design through delivery, adoption, and ongoing iteration within an agile methodology.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, QA, and other teams (marketing, sales, customer success/support) to deliver cohesive solutions that delight customers.
• Maintain Documentation: Author and update internal and external documentation, and contribute to status reporting for the appropriate stakeholders.
• Market Awareness: Stay informed of trends in Legal Tech, SaaS, AI, and product innovation to help ensure solutions continue to exceed user expectations.

Qualifications Required

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), ideally in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria (e.g., Given-When-Then format).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Legal Tech, practice management, or other vertical SaaS products.
• Comfort working with AI tools (e.g., Claude CoWork, Claude Code, v0, Figma AI, etc.).
• Position to work for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
