Social Media Manager

A Marketing Agency is looking for a content-obsessed Social Media Manager to own the day-to-day social media execution for one of our largest clients a Conservative political celebrity clients, currently under NDA.

This is not a generic marketing role.

We’re looking for someone who deeply understands internet content, knows what makes people stop scrolling, and has a strong working knowledge of the U.S. political landscape, major political figures, and current political conversations.

You should naturally follow what is happening online, understand why certain clips or moments gain traction, and have strong instincts for turning timely conversations into compelling short-form content.

What We’re Looking For

• Real content experience is required. We are not looking for someone whose background is primarily generic digital marketing, paid advertising, or brand management
• Experience managing and growing social media accounts with a strong emphasis on content strategy and audience growth
• Strong knowledge of U.S. politics and major political figures
• Excellent instincts for identifying what makes a piece of content interesting, shareable, controversial, timely, or culturally relevant
• Someone who is genuinely obsessed with content, social media, creators, trends, and growth
• A self-starter who can take ownership and make good content decisions without constant direction
• Highly responsive, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Strong written English and the ability to understand tone, nuance, humor, and context
• A strong portfolio with specific examples of social content you have worked on is required

Strong Candidates Will Be Able to Show

• Social accounts or content they have personally helped manage or grow
• Examples of short-form content they selected, developed, published, or helped turn into high-performing posts
• A clear understanding of why certain content performs better than other content
• Familiarity with major U.S. political personalities and current political conversations
• The ability to quickly identify interesting moments from longer videos, interviews, podcasts, or live conversations
