Staff Product Manager

What You Will Do

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for two to three teams within a core business line.
• Ship at pace. Deel operates at a velocity most companies find uncomfortable, and we like it that way.
• Reduce complexity in existing flows. Our product has grown fast and needs sharp product thinking to unwind accumulated friction.
• Partner deeply with engineering, design, operations, and commercial leaders to make big calls on scope, pace, and tradeoffs.
• Operate in a regulated environment and with people’s pay, where getting things wrong has real consequences for our customers, for people’s livelihood, and for Deel.
• Instrument your flows. You will be expected to know your funnel numbers cold and defend product decisions in front of a CEO who reads the same dashboards you do.
• Bring an AI-native workflow to how you build product, and ship features that use AI to collapse workflows for our customers.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time at senior levels (Senior PM and above).
• A shipping track record in a regulated environment. Fintech, payments, marketplaces at scale, healthtech, or compliance-heavy global B2B SaaS are all strong signals.
• Sharp growth instincts. You think in funnels, conversion, and drop-off, and you have made numbers move.
• Strong compliance intuition. You have designed around KYC, GDPR, country-specific regulation, or similar, and you do not treat legal as an afterthought.
• Executive presence. You can hold your own in front of a CEO and other C-suite leaders. You get to the point, defend your calls, and change your mind fast when the data says so.
• Bias to action and comfort with ambiguity. You do not need a fully-formed spec to start.
• Excellent asynchronous operator. Our engineering base is EMEA and LATAM heavy, and this role coordinates across multiple time zones.
