Case Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through pre-litigation settlement
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates regarding their cases
• Coordinate medical treatment and communicate with medical providers
• Request and follow up on medical records, bills, liens, and supporting documentation
• Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, coverage, liability, and case status
• Review case files to ensure all required documentation is complete and current
• Assist with preparation of demand packages and settlement documentation
• Track deadlines, statutes, case milestones, and outstanding tasks
• Document all communications and case activity accurately in the firm's case management system
• Identify issues that may require attorney review and escalate them promptly
• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, assistants, and other members of the Personal Injury team
• Provide clients with professional, compassionate, and responsive service throughout the life of their case

Qualifications

• Prior experience handling personal injury cases required
• Experience managing pre-litigation cases from intake through settlement strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate case documentation
• Professional and confident when communicating with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing parties
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a team
• Experience with legal case management software preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a must
