Oracle DBA at BairesDev

As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for the health and peak performance of our production database environments. You will ensure data availability and security while managing the complete lifecycle of diverse database systems to support mission-critical operations.

What You'll Do:

- Administer and maintain production databases to ensure high availability.

- Execute advanced performance tuning and query optimization to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency.

- Design and implement robust backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies to protect critical data assets.

- Manage database maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and resource utilization monitoring.

- Provide technical expertise in T-SQL and PL/SQL for database development and troubleshooting.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish database standards and best practices for multi-platform environments.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.

- Proven expertise in operating and tuning production databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL.

- Proficiency in T-SQL/PLSQL and implementing performance tuning strategies.

- Hands-on experience with backups, replication, and HA/DR configurations.

- Deep understanding of database maintenance and lifecycle management.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
